Por Thozhil teaser: Sarath Kumar, Ashok Selvan set out to nab a dangerous serial killer in this whodunit

The first look of Por Thozhil which was unveiled a few days ago hinted at the film being a murder mystery. The teaser which makers have revealed now have confirmed that the movie is a whodunit. Ashok Selvan and Sarath Kumar, who play lead roles as cops in the project, are after a criminal who is a serial killer.

The killer is only after girls and the cops are yet to crack details on him. With two cops with contrasting personalities investigating the case, how long can the mysterious person continue his killing spree?

Applause Entertainment in association with E4 Experiments and Eprius Studio have bankrolled the movie helmed by Vignesh Raja. Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, Mukesh R.Mehta, CV Sarathi, Poonam Mehra and Sandeep Mehra have jointly produced Por Thozhil which will hit screens on June 9.

Nikhila Vimal is another actor who plays an important character in the film. Jakes Bejoy has composed music for the project which has Alfred Prakash writing the screenplay along with Vignesh. Sakthi Film Factory has bagged the theatrical rights of the movie in Tamil Nadu.

Por Thozhil marks Nikhila's comeback to Tamil after a short hiatus. She was last seen in Sibiraj's Ranga which was released last year after lying in the cans for a while. This is Ashok Selvan's second outing this year after Modern Love Chennai, the Amazon Prime anthology which was dropped a few days ago.

For Sarath Kumar, who is on a roll with back to back releases Varisu, Rudhran and Ponniyin Selvan 2 this year, the crime drama is another outing which has him showcasing his acting prowess.
