The series is a devotional drama based on the life and teachings of the saint and spiritual guide, Sai Baba of Shirdi. It shows his healings, teachings of love, compassion, and oneness, and his capacity to help others overcome various obstacles in life. In 2020, the show was broadcast on television once more during the Coronavirus lockdown.

Ramayan - Ramanand Sagar version

Based on the epic Ramayana, the television series Ramayan is about how the demon Ravana's (Arvind Trivedi) evils are vanquished from Lanka by Lord Rama (Arun Govil), Goddess Sita (Deepika Chikhalia), and Lord Lakshmana (Sunil Lahri). Ramanand Sagar is the creator and director of the show. As per a BBC report, this serial has been viewed by over 650 million internet users.
