The producers have released a major update for the upcoming Malayalam film, Oru Kattil Oru Muri. After being delayed for unspecified reasons, the movie is now set to premiere in theatres on June 14. The film's April 26 release date had been previously postponed. Hakkim Shajahan, Priyamvada Krishnan, and Poornima Indrajith are the three main actors in this movie.
If the film opens on the said date, it will be shown in theatres with Suraj Venjaramoodu's comedy drama Grrr and Soubin Shahir's Machante Malakha and Kunchacko Boban. On the same day, the romantic drama 1 Princess Street, starring Balu Varghese, will also be released in theatres.

Both the teaser and the trailer give the impression that Poornima Indrajith's character is obsessed with a cot, which she asserts she slept on with her husband for seven months. Furthermore, Poornima's residence is seen being rented by Priyamvada's character, and Hakkim Shajahan plays a cab driver working during the night. The trailer for the film was recently released by the cast and crew.

Poornima’s character in Oru Kattil Oru Muri
In an exclusive conversation with The New Indian Express, the director disclosed that Poornima Indrajith portrays Akkamma, a middle-aged Tamil woman. He continued by saying that although he had first considered casting a few prominent actors, he truly wanted someone new who had never taken on a part similar to this.
And even though the Randam Bhavam star thought a more famous actor would be a better fit for the movie, he had assured her that she would be ideal for the part. Last year, the actress starred in the Hindi web series Kaala Paani and Nivin Pauly's Thuramukham.
