Poonam Pandey death - Nasha actress passes away at 32 due to cervical cancer, read Instagram post

Model-turned-actress Poonam Pandey has passed away at the age of 32. The shocking news was confirmed on her official account on social media. “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer,” a part of the Instagram post read.

Poonam Pandey’s team confirmed her sudden demise and reported that she passed away on Thursday. Speaking to News18, the Nasha actress’ team responded, “She passed away last night.”

The controversial model and actress Poonam Pandey has allegedly lost the battle of life to cervical cancer. In a shocking post on Instagram, Pandey’s official Instagram handle, with over 1.2 million followers, shared the news of her sad demise.

Taking to a long text on Instagram about the sudden death of the media personality, the post read, “Every living form that ever came into contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”

However, fans are still baffled if her passing away news is true or not, as her last post was shared nearly three days ago with the caption, “White & black: the yin and yang that balance my life.”

One social media user wrote, “Lost? Hope this is not fake or fun post.” While another shared, “I hope it’s not some marketing gimmick coz it’s distasteful but if it’s true. Rest in peace.” The post sparked mixed reactions as netizens wondered how can a cancer patient dies suddenly. One fan dubbed the news as a fake post and wrote, “How is this possible? How could someone die of a cancer instantly”

Poonam Pandey debuted in Bollywood with the 2013 erotic film Nasha but rose to internet fame for her bold statements and nude claims on several occasions. The social media sensation sparked rows of controversies after she claimed to strip naked on the Indian cricket field if India won the World Cup in 2011. Ever since she engaged in several controversies from time to time, including 2020’s Goa row after her unauthorized and obscene photoshoot. She was last seen in Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp in 2022 as a contestant and emerged in the seventh place.
