Jayam Ravi, who earned praise for portraying the role of Arunmozhi Varman in Ponniyin Selvan 1, is gearing up for the release of the film's second installment which will hit the screens on April 28. His fans are eagerly waiting to watch the transformation of his character in the movie to the much-celebrated Raja Raja Cholan, the king of Cholas.

However, the actor's next outing is Kalyana Krishnan's action drama Agilan which will be released on March 10. The makers made the release announcement a few days ago. The project's post theatrical digital rights have been acquired by Zee5 recently.

The actor has now hit the headlines for his never-before-seen appearance. He has sported a salt and pepper look for the first time, and a few stills are doing the rounds. His fans are going gaga over his new looks and a few of them have started comparing it with other Tamil actors who have flaunted similar looks in the past.

Ravi has opted this look for Antony Bhagyaraj's Siren, the shooting of which is currently happening at Karaikudi. The crime drama stars Keerthy Suresh and Anupama Parameswaran, too, in lead roles. The makers had unveiled a title announcement video sometime ago.

A few stills from the movie's location which have some of its crew members celebrating the birthday of director Antony have been going viral earlier today. GV Prakash is composing music for the project which has cinematography by Selvakumar SK and editing by Ruben.

Ravi has Rajesh's JR 30 (tentative title) and Ahmed's Iraivan, too, in his kitty. It is expected that he will have three releases in 2023, if everything goes well.
