Ponniyin Selvan 2 star Karthi goes gaga over hit film Dada; Kavin, Aparna Das express excitement

Movie buffs had good expectations when makers of Dada, starring Kavin and Aparna Das, unveiled its entertaining trailer. The film opened to good response among critics and the audience, and went on to become one of the hit Tamil movies of 2023. The rom-com helmed by debutant Ganesh K Babu is expected to drop on OTT in a few weeks' time.

Dhanush was the first leading actor to have openly admitted his love for the film. He spoke to Kavin and Aparna, and the young stars took to their social media pages to express their happiness. 

Now, Karthi has also joined the list; the Ponniyin Selvan actor is all praise for the movie and wrote on Twitter that he thoroughly loved the performances of actors in the well-made film. He tweeted, "Finally watched #Dada. What a great film! So happy to see such good writing and film making. Great performances by everyone. @Kavin_m_0431 - it was such a beautiful and complete performance. Congratulations team. Very proud of you guys (sic)."

While Aparna replied to Karthi's tweet with a short message, Kavin, who received a call from the senior actor, was touched with the gesture and couldn't stop from sharing his excitement.

His tweet read, "It was a five minute call. Amongst the everything you told me, I can only remember this one thing forever - “I will remember this film”And I want to let you know that I will never forget this, @Karthi_Offl sir (sic)." 

Film lovers are now waiting for the official announcement from makers on its OTT premiere. Interestingly, the team initially had plans to release Dada directly on an OTT platform, but they later changed their plans as the deal they intended to strike didn't materialize.
