The team of Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan 2 had dropped the announcement about the first single from the film, Aga Naga, last evening on their social media handle. Along with the announcement, the makers shared a poster of Karthi as Vallavarayan Vanthiyathevan and Trisha as Ilaiya Piratti Kundavai, who feature in the song.
In the poster, a beautiful Kundavai looking all regal is seen with a sword, while Vanthiyathevan is seen blindfolded with his knees bent in front of the Chola princess. It is to be noted that Aga Naga played in the background during the meeting of Kundavai and Vanthiyathevan in the first part. The fact that the song has got an extended version, has come as a huge excitement for fans of the franchise. The song is sung by Shakthishree Gopalan and has lyrics by Ilango Krishnan and will be out on March 20.
