Ponniyin Selvan 2 has been garnering praise from various noted celebs including the likes of Kamal Haasan and Anil Kapoor. The movie grossed 200 crores from across the world and it has been raking in impressive figures from Tamil Nadu, Kerala and overseas markets.

The latest to have attended the movie's special show in Mumbai is Manisha Koirala and Aditi Rao Hydari, two heroines of Mani Ratnam's films. While the former was the heroine in the filmmaker's ever popular projects Bombay and Dil Se, the latter was seen in Kaatru Veliyidai.

Pictures of the two of them posing for photos along with Mani and Suhasini are doing the rounds online. Aditi clicked a selfie with Mani and Manisha while Aishwarya Rai was also spotted at the show. It was only yesterday that Anil Kapoor went gaga over Vikram's performance, Aishwarya's difficult portrayal of Nandini and AR Rahman's music.

Film lovers are now waiting for the makers of the movie to reveal its updated collections. It is poised to enter the 250 crore club soon. As PS 1 collected around 500 crores, all eyes are now on PS 2's long run at the box office.

Thanks to mixed reports among the audience on the film's climax, many feel that PS 2's chances of surpassing PS 1 looks bleak. The opening day collection of the former, too, couldn't outdo the latter. Custody and Pichaikkaran 2 are two notable Tamil movies releasing in theatres this month.

PS 2 has a good chance of a long run at the box office if the two movies fail to meet the expectations. The multi-starrer couldn't attract the audience in Telugu and Hindi markets this time, too.
