Polimera 2 - Ahead of its OTT release, here's a juicy update on Polimera 3, details inside

Polimera 2 was a smash hit at the box office, having made just over Rs 20 crore, which is three times its budget. The film is the sequel to Polimera, which skipped its theatrical release and had a direct-to-OTT release on Hotstar in 2022 during COVID times.

Well, the makers are so confident about the success of the sequel that they released the second part in theatres, and it struck gold at the box office. Aha has bragged the OTT rights to Maa Oori Polimera 2 and the crime drama will be available to stream starting December 8, 2023.

Ahead of its OTT release, we have come to know that the script work for Polimera 3 is nearing completion. The makers left the ending in the second part on an interesting note and promised the audience that the third part was going to be even darker.

Well, director Anil Vishwanath has surely made heads turn with his work, and now that the scripting is in full swing, we can expect an announcement soon from the makers. Polimera deals with the concept of black magic.

Satyam Rajesh played the main lead. He is a popular comedian but with these two parts, he proved himself a good actor. He has also been paid some big bucks, as the makers earned good profits from the release. 

The news in the film circles is that the budget for the third part has also been increased and the film will have some known actors from Telugu cinema in key roles.
