Pokkhirajer Dim: Anirban Bhattacharya plays ‘quirky math teacher’

After Rainbow Jelly, Soukarya Ghosal is all set to begin its sequel, Pokkhirajer Dim. OTTplay has reported that the poster of the films was released recently. On Saturday, the muharat and Puja took place at the producer’s office. According to the production house, SVF, the filming will start in mid-September. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Shrikant Mohta, and Mahendra Soni, this film is a collaboration between Jio Studios and SVF.

Pokkhirajer Dim delves into the enchanting world of Ghoton, a character from Rainbow Jelly. Once captivated by the allure of culinary dreams, Ghoton is now poised to embark on yet another captivating journey of self-discovery. His friend Poppins is also part of the journey. Mahabrata Basu and Anumegha Banerjee will play these two characters. Additionally, Anirban Bhattacharya and Shyamal Chakraborty will play important characters. According to the makers, Anirban plays the character of a quirky math teacher, Batabyal, who, along with Ghoton and Poppins, goes on an adventure.

The story will delve into a place Akashgunj, the narrative interlaces the allure of rural Bengal with mystery and bravery. This chronicle transports one to a sequestered village, wherein the heart of the woodland lies in an abandoned temple, cradling celestial enigmas within its timeworn stone.

Soukarya’s Rainbow Jelly was released in 2018. Along with Mahabrata and Anumegha, the film also features Sreelekha Mitra, Kaushik Sen, Shantilal Mukherjee, and others.
