Sriram, who rose to prominence with films like Roja Poolu, Aaduvari Matalaku Ardhale Verule, and Dhada, will be seen in a horror film next. His upcoming film is titled Pindam and is directed by debutant Saikiran Daida. Popular Kannada actress Kushee Ravi makes her Telugu debut with a project produced by Yeshwanth Daggumati under Kalaahi Media. The film is set for release soon.

The first look of the film was unveiled by Sree Vishnu today. In the poster, the lead actors of the film — Sriram, Kushee Ravi, Easwari Rao, and others — are performing black magic on a young girl. The makers of Pindam are ambitious enough to call it ‘the scariest film ever’. Srinivas Avasarala and Ravi Varma are also part of the lineup. Pindam has already wrapped its shoot.

After the filming, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to finish the post-production formalities at a brisk pace. The team is planning to release the film in November. Much like the recent hit Masooda, the makers say Pindam is a true horror film and has a unique premise that’ll spook and surprise many. Smaran Sai, the composer for Martin Luther King, Matti Kathi, scores the music.

The teaser for the film is due to launch later this month. The story will go back and forth across three timelines — the present day besides the 1930s and the 1990s. Pindam will have a racy screenplay and keep the audiences hooked on the screen, the team assures. Before Pindam, Sriram also acted in a few other horror films, like Sowkarpettai and Asalem Jarigindi.

The other recent releases of Sriram include Ravanasura and 10th Class Diaries. Kushee Ravi, the actress, tasted overnight fame with the popularity of her Kannada love triangle Dia during the COVID-19 lockdown. She was also part of a film titled Spooky College in 2023 and is awaiting the release of Nakshe.
