The eighth episode of Quick Heal Pinch Season Two features Farhan Akhtar being interviewed by Arbaaz Khan. In the promo unveiled by the makers, Farhan addresses trolls who called him a 'flop actor' but also mentioned that only Bhaag Milkha Bhaag was his claim to fame. Another troll mocked the filmmaker-actor's vocal cords by calling it 'phati huyi aawaaz', to which Farhan laughed out loud.
While talking about Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Akhtar gave it back to troll by stating, "Iss flop hero ke zariye aapko Milkha ji ki kahani dekhni mil gayi, ussi se main khush hoon."
He also said, "Everyone who is using social media, they have to develop a thick skin to some extent."
Meanwhile, for the uninitiated, Arbaaz and Farhan's respective fathers Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar were the celebrated screenwriters in India of all time. When asked about their split, Farhan said, "I find it incredible that whatever happened between Salim Saab and dad, it never trickled down to us."
One of the most asked questions to the Dil Chahta Hai director is when will he make the third instalment in the Don franchise. He said, "I share a love-hate relationship with them... they say, 'Yaar please give me Don 3'" But then they abuse Farhan too.
Meanwhile, Akhtar was last seen in Toofaan directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra in which he plays the role of a boxer. The film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Farhan is now returning as a director with Jee Le Zaraa which he announced on completing 20 years as a filmmaker with Dil Chahta Hai. The film features Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles and is likely to hit the big screens in 2023.
Farhan along with Ritesh Sidhwani also announced their recent collaboration with Netflix and they will be producing two web series for the streaming platform.
