It's been more than a month since Phone Bhoot had a theatrical release. Starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter in the lead roles, the film has finally gotten its OTT premiere. Yes, Gurmeet Singh's directorial debut is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, but with a twist. The film is available to rent now for INR 199. The OTT platform took to its social media pages to make the announcement.

They shared a poster of Phone Bhoot on their Instagram page and wrote, "*tring tring* looks like you have a call. Phone Bhoot now available on #PrimeVideoStore, rent now!"

Take a look below:

In Phone Bhoot, Major (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Gullu (Ishaan Khatter), two crazy, unemployed horror movie addicts who are under intense family pressure to find work, come up with the idea to launch a special ghost-capturing service after meeting Ragini (Katrina Kaif), a spirit who makes their business successful but who also requests a favour that they are obligated to fulfil.

With her vigour and potent performance in Phone Bhoot, Katrina took on a role that her fans haven't seen her in recently after playing pretty intense characters in Bharat, Tiger Zinda Hai, and other films. She portrays a Bhootni who is involved in a hatke bhoot-bhagao business scheme with the two charms of Siddhant and Ishaan. With Phone Bhoot, she reverts to the fun character-playing we last saw her do in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

The three keep their composure throughout the unusual sequence. In the movie, their timing, punches, and overall performances are all very well-balanced. With their own jokes, they take the horror-comedy genre to a higher level and give the movie its own style. Sidhant and Ishaan gave a confident performance, and the funny background, Jackie Shroff's funny entrance as the villain, and Sheeba Chaddha's funny Bhootni frame might make you laugh.
