A quirky asset for the upcoming horror-comedy Phone Bhoot, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khattar, and Katrina Kaif, was revealed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment.
The film's creators are prepared to announce the theatrical release date tomorrow while also sharing the wacky video unit with the movie's theme song. The movie has generated a lot of interest since its first image featured the key actors.
Gurmmeet Singh directed the film, which was written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh. Excel Entertainment, led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, is the producer of Bath, Phone Bhoot.
Katrina captioned the video as "Ek Bhayanak comedy incoming. Phone Bhoot marks the first outing of Katrina, Siddhant, and Ishaan on the big screen. The trio shot for the film extensively in Rajasthan and teased fans with several BTS photos and videos.
In the horror-comedy, Katrina will be seen onscreen after her successful outing in 2021 with Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar. Siddhant's last movie was Gehraiyaan, alongside Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa.
Whereas Ishaan was last seen in Khaali Peeli, which was released in 2020. The film featured Ananya as the female lead.
Meanwhile, Phone Bhoot is set to be yet another horror comedy to be released in Bollywood. Recently, two horror comedies were released, namely Bhoot Police, starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Yami Gautam on Disney+ Hotstar and the recent blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, featuring Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
Talking about Gurmmeet Singh, the filmmaker is known for helming the hit series, Mirzapur. The show is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video and filming for the third season has just begun.
