Phone Bhoot remained flat on Sunday, which was expected as the collections were so low in mass pockets, which saw growth on Sunday. As per Box Office India, the film was doing 50% of Ram Setu's second-weekend business in Gujarat and Saurashtra, and when business is like this, it is hard to survive.
Phone Bhoot has managed Rs. 7 crore nett over its first weekend, and because of limited growth on Sunday, it will be tough on Monday.
The collections of Phone Bhoot on the first weekend were as follows:
Friday: Rs. 1.85 crore
Saturday: Rs. 2.50 crore
Sunday: Rs. 2.75 crore
Total: Rs. 7.10 crore
Since it came out, the movie has been getting a lot of attention for Katrina Kaif, who plays the world's most beautiful ghost, and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khattar, who play two ghostbusters. Ever since its release, the film has been constantly growing at the box office.
As per the production house, if we look at the collection figures of Phone Bhoot, the film collected Rs. 2.05 crore all across the nation on Friday, having picked up the pace in the evening and the night shows. The second day certainly saw a huge jump of 35% in its collections, amounting to Rs. 2.75 crore on Saturday. Having experienced a great start, the third-day collection of the film rose to Rs. 3.05 crore despite being affected by the India vs. Zimbabwe T20 World Cup match. This is a sheer example of audience love for the film that they are watching despite all the other influencing factors, and it would be exciting to see its growth in the coming days.
Phone Bhoot is made by Excel Entertainment, which is run by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. It was directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. The film released in theatres on November 4, 2022.
