Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is an upcoming thriller and is the sequel to the hit movie - Haseen Dillruba, which was released in 2021. The buzz around the film is already all levels high considering the film is a sequel to the film which was appreciated by the viewers and the gripping trailer that was unveiled a few days ago. 

The film will see Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey reprising their roles as Rani and Rishu, respectively. The film has become more exciting as it will now introduce two new characters, Sunny Kaushal as Abhimanyu and Jimmy Sheirgill as the police officer, who is also related to Harshvardhan Rane's Neel Tripathi, who is now dead.

Release date

The romantic thriller is all set to release on the digital platform on August 9. The movie will have an OTT clash with another digital release, Gyaarah Gyaarah, starring Raghav Juyal, Kritika Kamra, and Dhairya Karwa. The show is set to release on ZEE5 on the same date.

Trailer and Plot

Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is an upcoming romantic thriller. The narrative of the film will begin from where it ended. The first film ended with a scene where Taapsee's Rani Kashyap and Vikrant's Rishabh Saxena start a new life as they escape to Agra keeping the fans hooked to what will happen next. This time, the makers promise that the story will get more twisted with multiple secrets and interesting characters. 

Cast

With Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey, the film now has two additional exc iting characters including Sunny Kaushal as Abhimanyu (Rani's new loverboy) and Jimmy Sheirgill as a police officer. Directed by Jayprad Desai, the film is written by Kanika Dhillon. It is helmed by Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series Films.

Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is all set to release on Netflix on August 9.
