Malayalam web series Perilloor Premier League is streaming in digital space. The satirical series, starring Nikhila Vimal, Vijayaraghavan, Ashokan, Aju Varghese, and Sunny Wayne, is available on Disney+ Hotstar. It is streaming in the following languages: Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, and Bengali.

Malavika, played by Nikhila Vimal, arrives in Perilloor following Sunny Wayne's character Sreekuttan, whom she has had a crush on since their school days. However, an unforeseen turn of events forces her to run against Ashokan's character, Peethambharan, in the panchayat election. The plot of Perilloor Premier League revolves around the chaos surrounding this election and how it impacts every character in the village.
Perilloor Premier League features up to 125 characters, each of whom has an equal role in advancing the plot of the web series. The trailer for Perilloor Premier League makes mention of a comedy riot and frantic chaos in a village during a panchayat election.
The makers had also released a short video titled World of Perilloor on December 23, featuring a glimpse of some of the characters in the web series. Additionally, the video offers viewers an idea of the personalities of the humorous characters in this web series by hinting at some of their traits.
E4 Entertainment has bankrolled Perilloor Premier League, which is directed by Praveen Chandran. He was the chief associate director of Kurup and Luca, as well as the assistant director of Ithihasa, Tiyaan, and Ozhimuri. The screenplay for this web series has been penned by Kunjiramayanam-fame Deepu Pradeep.
Speaking with OTTplay, Praveen stated that throughout the Perilloor Premier League, each artist has been able to successfully maintain an impromptu sense of humour. He continued by saying that their performance is the best part of this web series. “The performers did wonderfully in their parts, incorporating the perfect amount of improvisation,” he added.
