Disney+ Hotstar has just announced a new Malayalam series, Perilloor Premier League, which stars Nikhila Vimal and Sunny Wayne in lead roles. The comedy entertainer is directed by Praveen Chandran and produced by E4 Entertainments. The OTT giant released a new poster for the series today.

The new poster showcases the cast of the series, which includes Sunny Wayne, Nikhila Vimal, Aju Varghese, Ashokan and Vijay Raghavan. Nikhila takes centre stage in the poster as a political party member. The other actors appear in different interesting looks. The new poster hints that the series is a laugh riot and we cannot wait to know more about the new ‘premier league’ in town. The series will be available in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi.

The series is scripted by Kunjiramayanam and Padmini writer Deepu Pradeep. Director Praveen had previously worked as the chief associate director of Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup and Tovino Thomas’ Luca. The series is produced by E4 Entertainment.

Nikhila Vimal’s upcoming endeavours

The second season of Nikhila's Tamil web series Mathagam, which also stars Atharvaa and Manikandan, was released a few weeks ago. Nikhila will also be seen on the silver screens alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran in Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil. Apart from this, she also has Mari Selvaraj’s Tamil movie, Vaazhai, which will be released directly on a regional OTT platform soon.
