Percy Jackson & the Olympians – Disney discloses 6 striking characters from the fantasy novel-series

In a modern world where the Greek gods still hold power, young demigod Percy Jackson stands as the only hope against the ancient Titans. Written by Rick Riordan, Percy Jackson & the Olympians is a thrilling six-book series that follows Percy's quest to prevent the Titans, led by the fearsome Kronos, from destroying the world. This series is the first in Riordan's book – Camp Half-Blood Chronicles, and takes readers on an unforgettable journey through a world where myth and reality collide.

Films on Percy Jackson

Previously Percy Jackson had two films – Percy Jackson & the Olympians (2010) and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013). Now the novel is having a thrilling series. Percy Jackson & the Olympians has eight episodes, and will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar.

Characters introduction

On December 12, Hotstar introduced the five striking characters (heroes and monsters) from the series. Walker Scobell will be seen in the titular role of Percy Jackson, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, the bull Minotaur, Megan Mullally as Alecto/Ms. Dodds, and Jessica Parker Kennedy as Medusa.

About the trailer

The trailer offers a glimpse into the world of Camp Half-Blood, where Percy, Grover, and Annabeth must learn to survive and improve their skills as demigods. The action-packed trailer also teases their perilous journey as they encounter mythical beasts and embark on a quest that will determine the fate of Olympus.
