Pelli SandaD actor Roshann signs a period film with director Pradeep Advaitham, shoot to begin soon

Director Pradeep Advaitham, who shot to fame with his short film Advaitham and directed a feature film Maine Pyaar Kiya (Telugu), is making a comeback to Telugu cinema. He is all set to direct Pelli SandaD actor Roshann for his next. The film, tentatively titled Production No 9, will be bankrolled by Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. The news was officially confirmed by the makers, commemorating Roshann's birthday, on Sunday.

"Here is my next movie announced today with #Roshann under prestigious Banners #Vyjayanthi movies and #Swapna cinema. Thanks to #Swapna Dutt the person who always believed my script," Pradeep Advaitham tweeted on Sunday. Going by the intriguing poster released by the team, Roshann's next is a period film set in Hyderabad. A few words in the backdrop of the poster read 'Troops march into Hyderabad' in what appears like a film set between the 1940s and 70s. Will it be based on the Razaqar movement? One may not know yet. 

Roshann made his acting debut with a confident performance in Annapurna Studios-backed Nirmala Convent and later turned a lead actor with Pelli SandaD, directed by Gowri Ronaki and supervised by veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao. While everyone was keenly awaiting the next move of Roshann, who scored a surprise hit with Pelli SandaD, he has raised several eyebrows with the choice of the director.

The team adds that Pradeep Advaitham has come up with a winning script and shares that Roshann will be seen in a new look in the film. Vyjayanthi Movies, Swapna Cinema has come up with several interesting films like Mahanati, Jathi Ratnalu and Yevade Subramanyam recently.
