Talking to the portal about the Peaky Blinders movie and his excitement to hop on the role yet again, Cillian Murphy said, “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me... It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans.”

Tom Harper, known for directing Heart Of Stone and also being the man in charge of the first few episodes of season 1 of Peaky Blinders, has been hired as the director for the movie. The script will be written by creator Steven Knight. Caryn Mandabach, Knight, Murphy, and Guy Heeley will serve as producers alongside Executive Producers Harper, David Kosse, Jamie Glazebrook, Andrew Warren, and David Mason. The team will be making the film in association with BBC Film.
