One of the biggest, most-awaited multi-starrers in the tinsel town, the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum starring Rana Daggubati, Pawan Kalyan, Nithya Menen and Aishwarya Rajesh, finally has a release date. The untitled film, which had already confirmed its release for the Sankranti season in 2022 recently, will officially hit theatres on January 12 (2022). Directed by Saagar K Chandra and bankrolled by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments, the film was in the news for roping in actress Nithya Menen and ace cinematographer Ravi K Chandran in their team over the last week. The film has music by SS Thaman.
In what's expected to be a double delight for fans of its lead cast, the first single of the film, very likely the introductory track of Pawan Kalyan's character Bheemla Nayak, will be released soon. The producers, Sithara Entertainments, stating the same, had tweeted, “Gear up for the Biggest Battle of Self-Esteem, #ProductionNo12 in theatres 12 Jan 2022. Be ready to experience the FIRST SINGLE veryy soonnn.” A promo video of a peppy track from the film, attached to the caption, sees actor Pawan Kalyan, Trivikram Srinivas, Saagar K Chandra and composer SS Thaman in the middle of a chilled-out discussion at a studio.
Ala Vaikunthapurramulo filmmaker Trivikram has penned the screenplay and dialogues for the film. The film will face immense competition from two other biggies during Sankranthi 2022, namely Mahesh Babu's Sarkaaru Vaari Paata (releasing on January 13) and Prabhas' much delayed pan-Indian release and epic romance Radhe Shyam (releasing on January 14). Pawan Kalyan's other commitments include director Krrish's Harihara Veera Mallu and an untitled mass entertainer with Harish Shankar. Rana is currently awaiting the release of his naxal drama Virata Parvam.
