The audio launch of Pathu Thala which was held almost a week ago had sent fans of Silambarasan in a tizzy. The actor delivered a long speech and promised his fans that he won't disappoint them in the future. The film is hitting the screens on March 30.
He attended a press meet of the movie earlier today where he opened up again on his experiences of working for the gangster flick and heaped praises on some of the crew members. Going gaga over AR Rahman, the composer of the movie, he said that there is a lot to learn from the global sensation who is dabbling between different projects.
Sayyeshaa, who will be seen in a cameo in the movie, was also present at the media interaction. Silambarasan said that he has enjoyed watching her flawless dance and added that the actress is part of a fantastic sequence in this project.
Gautham Karthik, he said, has performed some impressive action episodes in Pathu Thala. "Not everyone can pull off action scenes convincingly. The attitude with which Gautham put his best foot forward was a treat to watch. I'm sure the film will be a huge boost to his career," he said.
A sequel to Gautham Menon's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, which released last year, was announced by makers earlier. The director, too, revealed sometime ago that the plans are on. Interestingly, he has played a crucial role in Pathu Thala.
Silambarasan said on a lighter note that he won't be surprised if the sequel doesn't materialize as Gautham has his hands full. The filmmaker is seen in many films of late, and he is planning to commit more projects as an actor.
