The teaser begins with a famous quote of Abraham Lincoln- Slavery is founded in the selfishness of man's nature. Opposition to it is in his love of justice. The teaser gives a sneap peek into the rampant casteism existing in the Kerala society in the 19th century. This includes fishing next tax, ladder tax, breast tax and head tax and that the defaulters of these taxes would be subjected to execution. The teaser also gives us a sneak peek into the rise of Arattupuzha Velayudha Chekavar, who is said to be the first Ezhava to battle against the discrimination practised by the upper castes in Kerala. He also built a temple in Aratupuzha, which was opened to all the communities in Kerala. A lot of expectations are riding on the film from movie buffs.
