The much-anticipated first song from one of the most eagerly awaited movies of 2023, Pathaan, was released yesterday. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. Besharam Rang, the song from the film, is now out, and man, it's just as hot-tempered as the stills had hinted.
Even before it was released, the song received a lot of hype. Fans were unable to contain their excitement over Deepika Padukone's ultra-glamorous photos in bikinis or SRK's man bun and chiselled body. The song was finally released yesterday, and indeed, it is exactly as hot as we had anticipated.
While Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan are once again dancing together, on the other hand, we have the gorgeously shot locales of Spain. Shah Rukh Khan can make magic with just a look, while Deepika Padukone turns up the heat with her perfect dances and a beautiful persona that no one has seen before.
Did you, however, notice what we did? Isn't the song's melody somewhat reminiscent of Kasoor? If you listen to the song's opening music, you'll notice that it sounds a lot like the "Dil Mera Tod Diya Usne" song from the film Kasoor. The song was sung by Alka Yagnik, and Nadeem Shravan composed the music.
Well, this isn't the first Bollywood song that we've heard that isn't a replica of an older song. Earlier, Brahmastra's song Kesariya, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, was also mocked for being copied by the song Laaree Chhuti.
In the movie Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham collaborate. The movie is produced by Yash Raj Films, with direction by Siddharth Anand. The movie is scheduled for release on January 25, 2023.
