Parvathy Thiruvothu is reportedly set to play India’s first-ever female superhero in an upcoming project produced by Dulquer Salmaan

Parvathy Thiruvothu established herself as one of the most sought-after talents of South cinema, with her stellar performances in all major industries. The surpemely talented actress is currently on a high with the rave reviews she has been receiving for her performances in Dhootha, the recently released Amazon Prime series and Kadak Singh, the thriller that recently released on Zee5. Interestingly, the recent updates now suggest that Parvathy Thiruvothu might turn a superhero soon.
Parvathy Thiruvothu to play India’s first female superhero?
If the latest reports are to be believed, Parvathy Thiruvothu is now set to play India’s first-ever female superhero, in an upcoming fantasy film which is primarily made in Malayalam. Even though there is no official confirmation on the same yet, there is a strong buzz surrounding the Uyare actress’s association with the upcoming fantasy film. As per the latest updates, the makers might officially announce the project very soon.
Dulquer Salmaan to produce the film
What makes the upcoming female-led superhero film even more interesting is the reports on pan-Indian star Dulquer Salmaan’s collaboration with it. The grapevine suggests that the untitled project is set to be bankrolled by the Guns and Gulaabs actor’s home banner Wayfarer Films, along with the leading production banner Zee Studios. However, both the production banners are now remaining tight-lipped about this development. So, we will have to wait till the official announcement of the project, to know if these reports are true.

Parvathy Thiruvothu’s work front
The talented actress played the role of DCP Kranti Shenoy, an intelligent police officer in Dhootha. The project marked Parvathy’s first collaboration with popular Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya, and director Vikram Kumar. In Kadak Singh, which stars Pankaj Tripathi in the titular role, she appeared in the role of Miss Kanan aka Mimi nurse.
Parvathy Thiruvothu will be next seen in Thangalaan, the highly anticipated Pa Ranjith directorial set to hit the screens in January 2024. She is playing the role of a tribal woman in the Chiyaan Vikram starrer, which is set in the pre-independence era. Ullozhukku and Her are Parvathy’s other projects gearing up for release.
