This is the first time that Naresh has done such an intense character, and says that Paruvu has given him ample scope to showcase his acting prowess. Pawan Saidineni, the popular director, is the showrunner of this show, which is all set to stream on Zee5 from June 14, 2024, onwards.
Lavanya Tripathi, Niharika Konidela, and Varun Tej have released the promos of the series so far, and there is a very solid buzz for Paruvu in the OTT market. The special aspect of the series is that Chiranjeevi's daughter, Sushmita Konidela, has produced it on a decent budget.
Speaking about the series, Sushmita says that Paruvu has a dark and hard-hitting drama that has never been covered in Telugu OTT space before. Nagababu, who is in the news as his Janasena party has won the AP elections, plays a negative role in this series.
There are eight episodes in total in this series, which is a solid take on the system in Andhra Pradesh. The makers say that the series has been based on some real life incidents that happened in AP and other parts of India.
Paruvu has multiple actors from Telugu cinema in key roles. Rajkumar Kasireddy, the popular comedian, will also play a negative role in this series. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
