Aadhi and Hansika's sci-fi comedy entertainer Partner is all set to hit screens on August 25. The film, which is helmed by debutant Manoj Dhamodaran, also stars Yogi Babu in a pivotal role. The team, today, dropped the annoucement along with a new promo. The film is considered to be a comeback of sorts for Hansika, who hasn't delivered hit in a while. The actress, too, had taken a break from work for her wedding.
Going by the trailer, Aadhi seems to play an unemployed man, who finally gets on board a con company along with his partner, played by Yogi Babu. When trying to steal a scientific invention, Yogi Babu accidentally gets injected by a blue vial of liquid and turns into a beautiful woman (Hansika). A comedy of errors ensues.

The complete star cast includes Aadhi Pinisetty, Hansika Motwani, Yogi Babu, Palak Lalwani, Pandiarajan, Robo Shankar, John Vijay, Ravi Mariya, Tiger Thangadurai to name a few.
It is to be noted that during the trailer launch of the film, Robo Shankar, who plays a notable character, had stated that he was eager to touch Hansika's feet but the actress had made it clear that only the film's hero was supposed to touch her. Robo Shankar spoke about the 'privileges' that heroes enjoy in the industry. He also referred to Hansika as butter. A journalist, who was covering the occasion, went on to school the film crew on how to talk responsibly on stage and called out Robo Shankar's disparaging remarks.
Music for Partner is by Santosh Dhayanidhi, cinematography by Shabeer Ahammed and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. Partner is bankrolled by Goli Surya Prakash.
Hansika was last seen in Maha, directed by UR Jameel. She played a mother, who loses her child to a psycho killer's murder spree and is on mission to take revenge.
