Aadhi and Hansika's sci-fi comedy flick, Partner, is all set to drop in theatres on August 25. The film, which is helmed by debutant Manoj Dhamodaran, stars Yogi Babu in a pivotal role.
The quirky trailer
Aadhi plays an unemployed man, who finally joins an e-commerce company run by Yogi Babu, which sells stolen goods. When trying to steal a scientific invention, Yogi Babu accidentally gets injected with a blue vial of liquid and turns into a beautiful woman (Hansika).

The combo of Aadhi and Yogi Babu
It looks like the combo of Aadhi and Yogi Babu are all set to paint the town red with their hilarious scenes. The team recently released a sneak peek in which Yogi Babu is seen giving a tour of his form to Aadhi, who is looking for employment.
Comeback of sorts for Hansika
The film is considered to be a comeback of sorts for Hansika, who hasn't delivered a hit in a while. Hansika was last seen in UR Jameel's Maha, which failed to strike a chord with the audience and was a box office disaster. The actress had taken a break from work for her wedding.
Behind the scenes and controversy
Robo Shankar, who is part of the star cast, was called out by a journalist during a press meet. The actor had maintained that Hansika did not allow him to touch her feet in a scene and that only the film's hero was allowed to do that. Robo Shankar also spoke about the privileges of being a hero. The journalist called out the actor for the below the belt comment and stated that such actors shouldn't be allowed to get on stage.
The supportin g cast includes Palak Lalwani, Pandiarajan, Robo Shankar, John Vijay, Ravi Mariya, Tiger Thangadurai and others. Music for the film is by Santhosh Dayanidhi, cinematography is by Shabeer Ahammed and editing is by Pradeep E Ragav.
An August 2023 Release
The film is gearing up to hit screens on August 25. With just three days to go for the release, the team is busy with the promotions. The OTT partner is yet to be announced.
