Parking out on OTT - Where to watch Harish Kalyan and MS Bhaskar’s thriller drama

Harish Kalyan starrer drama thriller film Parking, which released in the theatres on December 1, has now made its OTT debut on Disney+ Hotstar. Also starring MS Bhaskar, the movie is helmed by debutant director Ramkumar Balakrishnan. The plot revolves around Harish and Bhaskar’s characters, who get into a tussle over who will get to use the parking space. The film is now available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, while the satellite rights have been sold to Vijay Television.

The story of Parking begins with an IT professional from Trichy (played by Harish) settling down with his wife (Indhuja) in Chennai. All goes well until he buys a new car. With limited parking space at his rented residence, things go topsy-turvy with his house owner (Bhaskar). They indulge in a war of words about the ownership of the parking space, which then escalates into a huge fight.

MS Bhaskar credits the entire team of Parking for the film’s success

Commenting on the film’s success at the box office, Bhaskar said in a recent interview that the credit goes to the entire team. “It has to be shared by everyone, including the director, actors and technicians. I am not the only one to take it. This is where the talent of the filmmakers and other technicians come through. The ability to make memorable characters out of actors who are appearing in roles with less screen time is a talent,” he elaborated.

Parking’s cast and crew

Apart from the lead cast, Parking also features Prathana Nathan, Rama Rajendra and Ilavarasu in pivotal roles. Sam CS has composed the film’s music, while Jiju Sunny is in charge of camerawork and Philomin Raj has worked on editing. The movie is bankrolled by Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios and KS Sinish of Soldier’s Factory.
