Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha Wedding: 90s music to Punjabi food and other details

Raghav Chadha, the political head of the Aam Aadmi Party, and actress Parineeti Chopra are all set to get hitched. According to reports, the couple will propose on May 13. Earlier, we reported that the actress' home has already been decorated for the pre-wedding festivities. Now we are here with some more exciting details about the wedding. 

The couple's wedding preparations are in full flow, even if they have remained mum about the date and location to this point. On September 24 in Udaipur, Raghav and Parineeti are set to get married. According to reports, Raghav and Parineeti will do their pheras on Sunday at around 3 o'clock. 

Food, theme and other details

Since both the bride and the groom are from Punjab, it has been stated that the couple will serve a Punjabi food during the pre-wedding festivities. The wedding will take place in Udaipur, therefore indigenous Rajasthani cuisine will also be served to the guests. According to reports, the wedding's overall theme would be nostalgia. Starting with the sangeet ceremony, every event will have a similar theme. The timeless melodies of Parineeti and Raghav's sangeet will transport the guests back to the 1990s.

Instead of arriving on a horse, the groom is anticipated to arrive at the location in a boat. On September 23, Parineeti's Choora ceremony will kick off the wedding festivities. Starting at 7 p.m., the families of the prospective bride and groom will party all night long under the theme 'Let's party like it's the 1990s.' The big day celebrations will begin on September 24.

The wedding along with other ceremonies would reportedly take place at The Leela Palace Udaipur, according to an earlier story from Hindustan Times. "Only close family members and friends will be staying there. For the other guests, all luxury properties in and around the wedding venue have been booked. It's going to be a grand Punjabi wedding," the source told HT.

Parineeti and Raghav's affair

After they were spotted together at a Mumbai restaurant earlier this year, followed by a few appearances at the airport, romance rumors about Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha began to circulate. They were seen together during an IPL game as well.
