That Amar Singh Chamkila is a special film in many ways than one is something that everyone knows. Besides the film being a biopic of the extremely talented singer Amar Singh Chamkila, the film has also catapulted Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh into the league of extraordinary performers.

Today, she took to social media and uploaded a special post in which she is seen crooning to the famous track from the film Amar Singh Chamkila. The said track was ‘Main shakar ban gayee’.
After posting the said video post, Parineeti Chopra captioned the same saying, ‘We knew this story was special, but the response “Chamkila and Amarjot” have received is beyond what any of us expected. Your love has left us all speechless! While we can’t ever repay the love you have given us, here’s a little something from me, a song I loved singing, and a song YOU have shown so much love for!’. She also tagged Netflix (the OTT platform where the film is being screened), the film’s director Imtiaz Ali, her co-star Diljit Dosanjh and the ‘music maestro’ A R Rahman.
No sooner did she post this, the comments section was seen overflowing with comments and compliments galore from all the fans and followers of the stunning actress. While one user wrote, ‘Excellent acting throughout!! You've certainly raised the bar for many generations to come’, there was another who wrote, ‘Best movie of 2024’ and many such comments.
