Paramporul Telugu OTT release date confirmed! When and where to watch the crime thriller starring Amitash, Sarathkumar

Paramporul, starring Sarathkumar and Amitash Pradhan, will be available for streaming in Telugu on ETV Win from January 18. Written and directed by debutant C Aravind Raj, the film received good reception upon its theatrical release on September 1, 2023.  

Paramporul is a cop thriller with a twist!

The Sarathkumar-starrer Paramporul is a thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat, thanks to its unique narrative. The story centres around a senior police officer and a small-time criminal, who team up for a deal. Sarathkumar plays the senior police officer who agrees to make a deal to earn some quick money, while Amitash plays a criminal who is in urgent need of money to save his sister. Their motive is to sell off a valuable antique idol to the highest bidder. However, complications arise and the duo find themselves in traps set by other men.

Besides Sarathkumar and Amitash Pradhan, Paramporul has Kashmira Pardeshi as the female lead, along with Balaji Sakthivel and T Siva in supporting roles. Dinesh Subbarayan and Sathish Krishnan have handled the stunt choreography and dance moves, respectively. S Pandikumar handled the camera work, while Nagooran Ramachandran is the editor of the film. The music is composed by celebrated composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. 

Director Aravind Raj about roping in Amitash Pradhan for Paramporul

In an earlier interview, director Aravind Raj revealed that he was looking for an actor ‘with no baggage’ to play Amitash’s character in Paramporul. “I was looking for an actor who has no baggage so far. I didn't want an actor with a certain reputation because the audience would end up having preconceived notions. Amitash was the perfect choice for me to cast him as Adhi in Paramporul,” the director explained. 

Paramporul, which released theatrically last year, is also streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Aha in Tamil.
