It looks like after the smashing success of Por Thozhil, Sarath Kumar is gearing up for yet another thriller. And this time around, he has teamed up with Amitash Pradhan of Vellaiilla Pattadhari fame. Kashmira Paradesi plays the leading lady in the film.
An impressive trailer
Going by the trailer, it looks like the plot revolves around idol theft. Aadhi (Amitash) is roped in by police officer Maithreyan (Sarathkumar) to act as mole among a gang involved in idol smuggling. When Aadhi is pushed to the wall, he relents. How they bust a gang together forms the crux of the story.

A plot to keep you hooked
When it comes to Sarathkumar, thrillers are totally up his sleeve. The actor will set out on yet another investigation in Param Porul. How the antique and idol smuggling gang operate despite strong surveillance from cops forms the. Param Porul is directed by C Aravind Raj.
Technical team
Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music. Cinematography is by S Pandikumar, and editing by Nagooran Ramachandran. Dinesh Subbarayan has choreographed the stunts and the dance sequences are by Sathish Krishnan. The film is produced by Manoj and Girish under Kavi Creations.
Behind-the-scenes-footage
When the makers announced the first single, Sippara Rippara, they dropped a two-minute video, which has Amitash following Yuvan at the latter's home and gym, after which the former kidnaps him with the help of Sarath. When Yuvan asks them about their demands, Sarath and Amitash check with Yuvan about the possibility of coming up with the first single in two days. This leaves both Sarathkumar and Amitash Pradhan.
An August 2023 Release
The film will be distributed by Sakthi Film Factory and will hit screens worldwide on September 1. The OTT partner is yet to be announced.
