Aritra Sen, who has made quite a few web series like Kali, Nokol Heere, Damayanti, will make his directorial debut on the big screen. Titled Ghore Pherar Gaan, the film is touted to be a musical, which is about modern relationships and the complications they bring along.

Parambrata Chatterjee and Ishaa Saha have been onboarded in the film opposite each other. Parambrata, who is also the creative producer, will play Imran while Ishaa will essay Tora. Gourab Chattopadhyay and Anasua Majumder have also been cast in the film. They will play Ribhu and Ribhu's mother respectively. The story is by Aritra while Soumyashree Ghosh has done the screenplay.

Ghore Pherar Gaan is reportedly about Tora who ties the knot with Ribhu and settles abroad. But their marriage hits a rocky patch. In the meantime, Tora meets Imran, who is a musician. Now, Tora, who incidentally always wanted to have a singing career but couldn’t follow her inner calling due to various reasons, gets drawn to Imran and eventually falls in love with him and the two get into a relationship. But will Tora, a married woman be able to choose her relationship with Imran over her marriage? Also, will Imran stay back abroad or choose his life in his home country form the crux of the story.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Parambrata Chatterjee will be seen in his directorial Bony that releases in theatres on October 10. The sci-fi thriller features Parambrata in the lead role alongside Koel Mallick, Anjan Dutt and Kanchan Mullick in important roles. Ishaa Saha, who was last seen in Hoichoi web series Boyfriends & Girlfriends, will be seen in Dev-starrer Golondaaj, which will release on October 10 too. Her latest release, Torutalar Bhoot opened to mixed reviews.
