Parambrata and Piya’s reception: Here is what we know about the menu and other details

Parambrata Chatterjee and Piya Chakraborty tied the knot on Monday. It has been reported that after their registry, they hosted a party in the evening. While the registry took place at Parambrata’s Jodhpur Park residence, the reception took place at Bhowanipore House in the evening. 

Parambrata and Piya both maintained that they wanted to have a private wedding with just their family members. In fact, they had a very small gathering with barely any members from the industry. After the registry, Parambrata and Piya went to the reception. The actor was seen in a white dhoti kurta with a royal blue jacket. Piya was in a grey sari and peak blouse. Both were dressed in a simple yet ethnic style.

According to sources, it was not a large gathering. The guest list was not more than 100. “It was more of a private party than a reception,” the source said. The menu followed the bride and groom’s style – simple and Bengali. As per sources, pulao, mutton, fish fry, and chicken were on the list.

In the evening, Parambrata was papped with his pet, Nina – an Indie dog. Nina was also dressed in a brocade skirt. However, the pet had to give the party a miss, a guest said.   

Parambrata and Piya – a mental rights activist and scholar – have been dating for a couple of years. During the time of the pandemic, they started working together with an NGO. Sources close to the duo confirmed that they fell in love as they started working together.
