Paradise OTT release date: Sterling Brown reunites with This is Us show creator Dan Fogelman for an 8-episode thriller about the murder of a US President and missing top-secret files.
Last Updated: 04.27 PM, Jan 18, 2025
Sterling Brown is agent Xavier Collins, a Secret Service Agent on the President, Cal Bradford’s (James Marsden) security detail – and the only one the latter trusts. Not long after he is entrusted with top-secret national security information, the President winds up dead. Collins becomes the prime suspect in the murder, as the last person to have seen the President alive.
The murder investigation, though, is only one of Collins’ worries, as the black box that contained the information that was shared with him is now empty, meaning the stakes are a lot higher. Who killed the president and why? What are these secrets that were to kill for? How will Collins clear his name and continue doing his job of serving and saving the country? This and more will unfold when Paradise begins streaming shortly.
The official synopsis of the series reads, “Paradise is set in a serene, wealthy community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals. But this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder occurs and a high stakes investigation unfolds.”
The 8-episode Hulu original series is set to begin streaming on January 28 on Disney+ Hotstar as part of a bundle agreement. The first 3 episodes drop on January 28, followed by weekly releases every Tuesday until March 4. Joining Brown and Marsden on the cast are Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom Aliyah Mastin, and Percy Draggs IV, among others.
