Leading Telugu, Tamil OTT platform aha has been consistently coming up with new regional shows to cater to different audience segments in the recent years. While the streamer has been in the news for the entrepreneurial reality show Nenu Super Woman and Vishwak Sen’s OTT debut Family Dhamaka, they’re back with another quirky web series titled Papam Pasivadu.
Sreerama Chandra, who has been consistently associated with aha for the first season of Telugu Indian Idol and the initial episodes of Nenu Super Woman, headlines their latest show too. Rashi Singh, Sri Vidya Maharshi, Gayatri Chaganti, Madee, Ashok Kumar play other key roles in Papam Pasivadu directed by Lalith Kumar. Akhilesh Vardhan produces the show under The Weekend Show.
Papam Pasivadu, whose shoot was wrapped up recently, is finishing its post-production formalities at a brisk pace. The show is gearing up for an OTT premiere later this month on September 29. In the poster released by makers, Sreerama Chandra appears a confused man, who’s unable to make choices quickly and faces several problems in his life owing to his decision making skills.
The teaser of the show was launched by the team yesterday in Avanthi College amidst college students. “Pareshan Pasivadu..Confusing chesthadu! Clarity ivvamante, idhigo ee teaser vadiladu...Soodandi..#PapamPasivadu Premieres Sept 29..Teaser Out Now,” aha tweeted. The glimpse reveals how the protagonist lands in a soup owing to his love life and his inability to make decisions.
Actor-musician-host Sreerama Chandra is aptly cast in the part. Jose Jimmy is scoring the music for the same and Gokul Bharathi is the cinematographer. Aishwarya Rajeev is the costume designer while Vijay Makkena handles art direction. Bhuvan Saluru, Arjun Samudrala are the executive producers and Rohit Devullapally, Meghna Edida are the creative producers.
