Paoli Dam on Kaberi: It is a deeply personal journey into the heart of resilience and strength

Paoli Dam has been a busy actress, especially on national OTT platforms. Her works, including Karm Yuddh, Bulbbul, etc, received acclaim from viewers and critics alike. Now, she is all set with her Bengali OTT journey. She will be seen as the lead in Kaberi which also features Sourav Chakraborty, Chandan Sen, and others. 

Kaberi is Paoli’s first-ever web series with Hoichoi.  It delves into a case of domestic violence, touching upon the intricacies of a woman’s struggle and resilience. The series explores the complexities of abuse, capturing the emotional and psychological toll it takes on its protagonist. In a climate where conversations about such issues are more crucial than ever, the web series provides a poignant and relevant narrative. 

Paoli plays the titular character. Her journey in Kaberi is a powerful arc of vengeance and empowerment, as her character evolves from a victim into a formidable force of reckoning. According to the makers, Kaberi is more than just a series; it's a bold statement on contemporary issues, offering a narrative that is both engaging and thought-provoking. 

Besides Kaberi, Paoli will also be seen in Addatimes’ Julie. Directed by Aritra Sen, the series delves into the life of a politician and features Shruti Das, Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee, Kaushik Sen, and others.
