Pankaj Tripathi reasons his recent absence and having as many as SEVEN releases in the remaining months of 2023!

For all those who were wondering as to why the seasoned actor has been missing of late from the silver screen as well as from the OTT space, here’s the good news. The fans of the prolific actor just need not worry as he will be now back with a bang, with not one or two, but, as many as seven releases in the remaining months of the year 2023.

Speaking about the same, Pankaj Tripathi said, “It’s nothing like I was missing from the scene. It’s just that there is a process to make a movie which takes time. My movies ‘Mirzapur 3’, ‘Oh My God 2’, ‘Kadak Singh’ and ‘Fukrey 3’, are already in post-production. Besides that, I have already started shooting for the film ‘Main Hoon Atal’ and will start shooting for the most anticipated ‘Stree 2’. So, everything seems to be on track. Its just that I was also a little busy with some personal work. I was taking care of some of the development work in my village. So… life has been busy. I just have to wait for the right time for the movies to be out.”

In totality for this year, Pankaj Tripathi will be seen in as many as seven releases this year. These films include ‘Gulkanda Tales’ (with Kunal Khemu, Patralekha), ‘Mirzapur 3’, ‘Oh My God 2’ (with Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam and Arun Govil, ‘Fukrey 3’, ‘Murder Mubarak’, ‘Kadak Singh’ (which stars Parvathy Thiruvothu and Sanjana Sanghi), ‘Metro Inn Dino’. Besides all these, he will also be seen in ‘Stree 2’ and the much-talked film ‘Main Hoon Atal’, which is based on the life of former Prime Minister (late) Atal Bihari Vajpayee. And as for ‘Mirzapur 3’, Pankaj Tripathi will be seen bringing his character Kaleen bhai to life for the third time.
