Pankaj Tripathi on OMG 2 Vs Gadar 2 box office: Everyone's films should work, everyone should get their fair share | Exclusive

Actor Pankaj Tripathi is renowned for choosing parts in movies that deal with significant subjects. The actor portrays Kanti Sharan Mudgal in OMG 2, a devoted merchant at a Ujjain temple whose life becomes chaotic when his son is expelled from school for participating in explicit behavior and being the target of bullying. The film also stars Akshay Kumar and Yami Gautam in the lead roles.

The actor discussed about the box office clash between OMG 2, Sunny Deol-Ameesha Patel's Gadar 2 and Rajinikanth's Jailer in an exclusive interview with OTTplay. 

The Mirzapur actor said: "I heard that after a long time, such a substantial collection has happened in just one day. Everyone has come to the cinemas, and this is good, it's good for the cinema industry, everyone's films should run. Everyone should get their fair share. So, my best wishes are with "Gadar 2" and "Jailer," and I don't really involve myself in these things, my work is limited to acting, beyond that, it's not my responsibility. Any film that runs and earns well feels good because it boosts everyone's morale."

The main focus of OMG 2 is the character played by Pankaj Tripathi, who sues his son's school. Akshay Kumar portrays a messenger for Lord Shiva who is requested by the divine to offer divine assistance. Tripathi, though, has no desire to claim the glory.

The spiritual sequel to OMG (Oh My God!) is OMG 2. The controversial topic of sex education is the main emphasis of the movie. Akshay Kumar portrays Lord Shiva's messenger, and Pankaj Tripathi portrays a devout believer. Yami Gautam, on the other hand plays an advocate in the film.

On the work front, Pankaj Tripathi will next be seen in Main Atal Hoon, Metro In Dino and Fukrey 3.
