What’s new?
Speaking about his working style, the 47-year-old actor confessed that he has been to the theatres for four years. Additionally, he said that he hasn’t watched more than 50 films in his life.
“You won’t believe if I tell you that I don’t watch any films. I have watched 50 films in my entire life; 80 percent are (late actor) Irrfan’s films. When I had the time, I used to watch independent movies, but ab toh theatre gaye hue bhi chaar saal ho gaye honge. I don’t remember the last commercial film I watched,” said Pankaj Tripathi to the news portal HT City.
When asked whether he likes to watch his own films or the projects he has worked on, the talented star said, “Apne project ke bhi che mahine ke baad kuch scenes nikaal kar dekh leta hoon, that too when I have to revisit my performance and see how my character behaved while preparing for the next season of a show. I watch a certain scene [from my films] if anyone has appreciated me a lot just to see ki aisa kya hai ki itna appreciation mil raha hai, or to understand my flaws.”
On the professional front, he was recently seen in the movie Fukrey 3. Next, he is set to appear as the former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the upcoming biopic Main Atal Hoon.
