With the next Malayalam movie, Pani, Joju George will be directing his first feature film. The makers have officially announced the theatrical release date, ending the anticipation of the actor's fans. On October 17, the action drama, in which Joju plays the lead role, will be released in theatres. Along with the release of the first song from the movie, 'Maranaadu Pulle,' sung by Vishnu Vijay, came the date. The song has captured the interest of the fans, building anticipation for the premiere of the movie.
Pani's filming was completed in February. The movie's September release coincided with Onam, according to certain speculations, but the producers made no formal announcement. The eagerly awaited movie will now open in theatres on October 17. Another update states that Pani would be released in five more languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, in addition to Malayalam, to ensure a wider audience throughout India. If the movie is released on the scheduled date, it will play in theatres alongside Amal Neerad's Bougainvillaea.
A poster of Giri and Gauri, the main protagonists from Pani, had already attracted a lot of attention and was widely circulated on social media. Ever since, the movie's buzz has only gotten bigger.
Notably, Abhinaya, the major female character, is Joju's heroine in the movie. The Malayalam audience is excited about her upcoming role alongside Joju George, as her uplifting tale of conquering obstacles has a strong emotional connection with her fans. Sagar, Junais, Abhaya Hiranmayi, Prasant Alexander, Sujith Shankar, and more than sixty debutantes are among the film's outstanding ensemble cast members. The 110-day filming had a substantial production expenditure.
M Riyas Adam and Sijo Vadakkan have bankrolled the mass revenge thriller, under the banners of AD Studios and Sri Gokulam Movies under the auspices of Joju's own production firm, Appu Paathu Papu Productions. Dream Big Films, in association with Sri Gokulam Movies, will distribute Pani in theatres.
