After a positive response to The Signature, filmmaker Gajendra Ahire is ready to present his project, a web series named Paithani. The web show's trailer was recently released online and its heartwarming glimpse struck the right chord with the masses. Paithani's storyline follows the life of Godavari (Mrinal Kulkarni) who weaves Paithani sarees. While an introduction to Mrina's character is out, the makers have now introduced Eisha Singh's character in the show.

ZEE5 dropped a character poster of Eisha Singh from Paithani. The actress plays the role of Kaveri, who is a devoted daughter of Godavari. Introducing the character, the streamer mentioned she is 'ready to risk' everything to uphold her mother's legacy. If you haven't seen Eisha's Paithani poster yet, check it out right below:
While sharing the poster on Instagram, the streaming platform wrote, "Paithani weaves together her journey of resilience, love, and tradition. Paithani premieres 15th November, only on ZEE5 (sic)." As per the show's trailer, Eisha's character Kaveri is on a mission to honor her mother's legacy. She plans to gift the final Paithani weaved by Godavaeri to her. However, she faces challenges in doing so.

In an official statement, Gajendra Ahire said Paithani is a heartfelt tribute to the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra, which is embodied in the beautiful Paithani saree.

Naming the show Paithani symbolizes not just the artistry of weaving but also the cherished connections that bind us.
