Pachinko 2 episode 4 recap: Kim Min-ha's Sun-ja and Lee Min-ho's Han-su's brief romance ends in disaster, new love to blossom in ep 5

It was finally time for Kim Min-ha's Sun-ja and Lee Min-ho's Han-su to rekindle their romance. The moment was a part of Pachinko 2 episode 4 but almost as soon as it happened, the moment passed as well, in disaster, must we add. Episode 5 of Pachinko season 2 sets the tone for new romances for Sun-ja and her friend, Kyung-hee. Here’s everything we know so far…

Pachinko 2 episode 4 witnessed Sun-ja and Han-su romance

Ko Han-su brings Sun-ja's mother from Korea to Japan, leaving her elated. This brings them closer once again. They share a warm kiss one night, but Sun-ja backs off. Han-su confesses that he loves her but she is certain that it is too late. Thus, Sun-ja rejects Han-su's advances, only to reveal to her mother that Noa is Han-su's son.

Solomon's story

Solomon is in a big mess. He cannot tell either his girlfriend Naomi or his grandmother Sun-ja about how he got personal revenge. He is likely to get his life back on track in the coming episode, but for now, it is a huge pile of mess that he's sitting on, all alone.

New romance blooming for Sun-ja?

Episode 4 ended with Sun-ja calling up the man she met at the grocery store, Kato. The two hit it off instantly and Sun-ja wants to see where their relationship can head to, since she's of the belief that they deserve happiness after all the pain. Clearly, Sun-ja wants to look ahead and not open the chapter she closed with Han-su years back.

Kyung-hee's developing feelings for Mr. Kim, reciprocated

They both feel the same way and Kyung-hee is tired of waiting for any news about her husband. She and Kim Chang Ho come from different worlds, with her rich background and him surviving hand-to-mouth but in this moment, none of that seems to matter, since they are two humans who feel for each other and are forced to live in close proximity. Their relationship is also likely to be explored further in the coming episode.
