Telugu producer SS Karthikeya, the son of director SS Rajamouli, unveiled the posters of his two upcoming projects, Oxygen and Don't Trouble The Trouble, on Tuesday. The highlight of this announcement is that both films will star Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil in the lead role.
The first look of Oxygen featured Fahadh in an intense look, wearing a face mask, reminiscent of the harrowing times of the Covid-19 pandemic. It's safe to assume that the film will explore the horrors that people faced due to shortages of life-saving medical oxygen during Covid treatment. The poster also claims that the film is inspired by real-life events.

On the other hand, Don't Trouble The Trouble appears to be diametrically opposite to Oxygen. While the latter seems to be an intense survival thriller, the former promises to be a fun-filled adventure, delving into the forces of magic. Don't Trouble The Trouble is billed as a fantasy drama, and the first look poster features a flabbergasted Fahadh riding on top of a cop vehicle along with a little girl casting a magic spell with her wand.
Don't Trouble The Trouble derives its name from a popular punchline in one of Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna's movies, enjoying wide popularity in the meme world.
Karthikeya is co-producing Oxygen and Don't Trouble The Trouble with Arka Mediaworks, the producers of the Baahubali series, and Showing Business. These movies will be presented by SS Rajamouli, giving them a much-needed promotional boost across the country. While "Don't Trouble The Trouble" will be directed by Shashank Yeleti, Oxygen will be helmed by Siddhartha Nadella; both are debutant directors.

In a heartfelt note, Karthikeya thanked Fahadh Faasil for putting faith in a bunch of newcomers and expressed deep gratitude to him.

"Two years ago, while working on an inspiring friendship subject with debutant Siddharth Nadella, another thrilling fantasy story suddenly came to light from debutant Shashank Yeleti, which equally excited us. However, we never thought both would go to the same actor for both scripts, and he would agree during the first narration itself. The man I have adored for so long, the epitome of versatility, the unmatched Fahadh Faasil... I love you so much, sir. This is our #Premalu to you. Thank you for encouraging a bunch of young talents and debutants," said Karthikeya.
It's noteworthy that Karthikeya also distributed the latest Malayalam hit Premalu in the Telugu states. Bankrolled by Fahadh, the Telugu version became a big hit with the audiences there.
