OTTplay Changemakers Awards 2023: Sayani Gupta is declared the Most Promising Star of the Year

At the first OTTplay Changemakers Awards, Sayani Gupta took home the award for Most Promising Star of the Year (Female). The award was presented by Ashwath Bhatt and Satyam Manohar, Business Head (West), of Real Fruit Juices and Beverages.

On the red carpet Sayani referred to the event as a celebration of changemakers. Saying she was delighted to be there, the actress said “A lot of changes have happened over the time due to the hard work of many people to reach where they are today”. She also thanked HT City as well.

Sayani was last seen in Nandita Das’ latest directorial Zwigato, which saw Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami in lead roles. The former also reprised her role in the latest season of the Amazon Prime Video series, Four More Shots Please!, in which she shared the screen with Bani J, Kirti Kulhari, and Maanvi Gagroo. The actress also had a significant role in Srijit Mukherji’s 2022 film Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga, which also starred Pankaj Tripathi and Neeraj Kabi.
