The third edition of OTTplay Awards ended with a sparkling and shimmering night filled with esteemed celebrities across the nation, from all languages, honouring the stage while accepting their respective prestigious awards on March 22. From Kunal Kohli, Jyothika, Rithvik Dhanjani, Priyamani, Kani Kasruti, Kajol, Aditi Rao Hydari to Rajkummar Rao, many more stars were present at the celebrated red carpet.
However, Raghav Juyal, the 33-year-old dancer-turned-actor, won the Best Actor (Male) Popular award for his superhit thriller web series, Gyaarah Gyaarah. After accepting the accolade, Raghav made the night more memorable with his iconic slow-motion dance on the stage. Actress Nyra Banerjee and the StockGro CEO, Ajay Lakhotia were also seen matching their steps with Juyal. It was absolutely an amazing sight to behold last night!
After accepting the award, Raghav Juyal shared that he feels extremely nervous as getting an award is something really big for him. He said, "Thank you everyone because main tukke wala actor hoon", and lastly hints at his next stint being farming given his spontaneity.
Web series, Gyaarah Gyaarah, was released on ZEE5 last year. You can also watch the crime thriller drama through OTTplay Premium. This series explores mystery, science, and a touch of the unknown. It's about two police officers–Yug (Raghav Juyal) and Shaurya (Dhairya Karwa)–who are separated by time and space. They somehow connect through a walkie-talkie at exactly 11:11 pm, despite living in different eras.
OTTplay Awards 2025 also saw the who's who of Indian's OTT space turn up, celebrating the theme - 'One Nation, One Award'. Manoj Bajpayee, Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Madhav, Imtiaz Ali, Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan, Patralekhaa, Avneet Kaur, Nimisha Sajayan were also honoured at the shimmering award event, which has held from film industries including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
