OTTplay Awards 2025: Neeraj Madhav wins Best Actor in a Comedy for Love Under Construction

Malayalam actor Neeraj Madhav, who became a known face in the Hindi digital space with Manoj Bajpayee-starrer The Family Man, has made a confident debut in Malayalam series with Love Under Construction on JioHotstar. The RDX actor has secured the Best Actor Award in a Comedy at the OTTplay Awards 2025, which celebrates the theme - “One Nation, One Award”.

Neeraj Madhav, who has been a part of rib-tickling comedies such as Adi Kapyare Kootamani, played the role of NRI youth Vinod in Love Under Construction, that hilariously showed his attempts to build a house and as well as get married. Neeraj effortlessly slipped into the character of Vinod, leading him to win his first OTTplay Award.

The third edition of the OTTplay Awards, hosted by Aparshakti Khurana and Kubra Sait, was held in Mumbai on March 22, 2025.  After receiving the award from Eli AvrRam at the show, Neeraj said, “Before this award, I received another award five years ago for a series, but unfortunately I couldn't be there at that event. So, today receiving this award myself is a very big thing for me. Thank you OTTplay for making it possible.”

OTTplay Awards 2025 also saw the who’s who of Indian OTT space turn up. Kajol, Kani Kasruti, Divya Dutt, Priyamani, Nimisha Sanjayan, Manoj Bajpayee, and more were also honoured at the award function, which had celebs from film industries including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada.
