OTTplay Awards 2025: Hina Khan wins Promising Actor (Female) for Grihalaxmi

Despite battling something big on the personal front, Hina Khan has managed to remain relevant in the world on Entertainment, especially on OTT. The actress has turned a real ‘sher’ and received Promising Actor (Female) award at the third edition of OTTplay Award 2025, which was held in Mumbai on March 22.

Hina's performance in EpicOn’s Grihalaxmi has earned her acclaim and audience's love for her power-packed performance. She plays the role of a housewife Laxmi, who takes over a dangerous mission despite knowing the risks of her actions. The show is Laxmi’s journey from a housewife to becoming Betalgadh's queen.

Notably, Hina Khan was a guest at OTTplay Awards 2022 and absolutely slayed her red-carpet look. She became the celebrity everybody was talking about. Now, she is here to collect her first OTTplay Award.

Back at OTTplay Awards 2025, we witnessed the who’s who of Indian OTT space turn up, celebrating the theme - “One Nation, One Award”. Kajol, Jyotika, Imtiaz Ali, and were also honoured at the award function, which had celebs from film industries including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
